Patti was the maid of honor in my wedding. We lived together in a dorm for a year, and ever since we met we became fast friends. |

The Thing About Patti

So we went to church today. Well, we went to the building, not the actually service. We tried to go to church. We took a bus until the bus would go no more, then we walked uphill for a mile. No kidding. At least it was almost a mile. So we arrive panting at the church (well, I was panting... hey! I've been sick, I have an excuse) to this sign: |
It's A New Year
Looking back at 2009:
If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time you know that this past year was probably the biggest of my life. I have had a whole world of changes, adjustments, adventures, and learning experiences. Some of them I chose, and some were forced on me, but all were for my good and I wouldn't change anything.
The biggest "landmarks" were:
Quick Travel Update
Hey All!
I know, I know, I'm suppose to be better at this posting thing since I'm home and relaxing, but actually I've been going non-stop. In a good way, but sadly I've neglected the blog.
I have lots to tell and many stories to share, so hope you'll bear with me while I am travelling. Tomorrow my family is driving me to Chicago where we'll spend the night and accomplish last minute things before I fly out in the morning to rejoin my hubby in Frankfurt, where he's been staying.
Travel Updates
I apologize for being MIA for so long! Sheesh! It's been almost a week since I've posted. Since which I've gone mobile.
I'm in the States currently visiting my family for Christmas, but it was definitely a bit of a journey getting here, which is why I haven't posted in a while.
What is that One Thing?
So when I go back to the States, I have a plan.
Sometimes You Just Need A Good Cry
So I was frustrated and crabby for whatever reason tonight, and Ales hugs me and I start to cry, and the next thing I know Ales is laughing. When he realizes that I wasn't laughing, instead crying, he starts laughing more and making fun of me! Seriously! So he hugs me in sort-of-regret and so I am almost crying again, but now I can't because I'm laughing! Ahhhh!
Ales' Interview
Another interview. This time it's Ales' turn. It's more a work interview than a personal one, hope you'll check it out.
Also in the news today, is that I am whipping up a batch of whole wheat chocolate chip cookies, just because I'm craving them late at night ... the whole wheat part is to make me feel less guilty.
Okay, sorry about the food break, you can read the interview here.
Enjoy!
Love,
Em
I Am So Blessed
... by the gifts from His hand,
I just can't understand,
Why He loved me so much.
I am so blessed.
Maybe I'll have more time to spuce up this post, but for now it is is almost midnight and I have been on my feet all day, so I just want to put my "grateful list" up quick.
Why I am so blessed:
I am grateful for my husband, for this first Thanksgiving that we have spent together. I love him so much because he is "the one."
An Interview
Hey All! Guess what? I'm being interviewed! Yup, on a site called the Women's colony. They have these things called "World Wide Women's Day" (yikes! quite the mouthful) on Wednesday's, and since I'm now a traveled women, they interviewed me.
